Sunflower Seeds

The Hi-Sun grows up to 1.2m tall and is ideal as a bee-attracting border, and to provide a wind break and much-needed shade for some of your summer crops. It also produces good yields of high-quality sunflower seeds for snacking.

Soil Sunflowers will grow in most soil types, but will prefer well-drained soil that is prepared with compost

Soil pH Level 6.5 - 7.5

Position Full sun, with protection from wind. Sunflowers are tall plants that will cast a shadow, so position accordingly.

Spacing 20cm - 30cm

Depth 1cm - 3cm

Companion Plants Cucumber, Melon, Squash & Sweetcorn
