This is one of the oldest types of squash dating back to pre-Columbus times. Popular to the home grower for its ribbed and bell-shaped rich yellow/orange fruit, it is easy to grow and great to eat.

Soil Indifferent to a number of soil types but must be free-draining. Mix through well-rotted manure a week prior to planting.
