Dill

A feathery leafed annual herb producing sweet delicate foliage. Requires a sunny, well drained position and will survive drier conditions. Grows to 30cm.

Harvest: Harvest fresh young tips all year round. Prune flower stem in summer to encourage fresh growth. Dill can be used fresh or dried.

Uses: Leaves can be used to flavour fish, yoghurt dips, egg, potato and vegetable dishes. Seeds are used to flavour pickles.
