Chives

A perennial clumping herb with hollow onion flavoured leaves.

Produces an edible mauve pom-pom flower in spring/summer. Grows to 25cm.

Harvest: Harvest at the base as required and leaves will continuously regenerate.

Chives can be divided in autumn and spring.

Uses: Leaves are used in soups, salads, dips, rice dishes, vegetable and salad dressings. A favourite with asian cuisine.
